History of Bonnie's Joy

The heat of Hot August nights in Reno Nevada, ignited my love of pin up and feminine confidence. I am awakened.

My grandmother ran a girl’s group home, a powerful act of compassion and mentorship. I remember having so much admiration and connection to her healing nature which sparked an insatiable desire in my soul to help others. I hear the call.

Art has been my anchor; music, dance, painting, photography, architecture, literature, cinema, theater, hair, make up, crafts, set designing, and costume is part of my essence. I feel my purpose.

West High school in Salty Lake, Utah. I received the career test results: arts and humanitarian. My arrow pointing to art therapy. The career test results were a glimpse into what was to come. I start my journey.
